Can I rent a unit at any time?
Yes. We offer convenient online rental available 24-Hours per day 7-days per week.
Can I rent a unit any day of the month?
Yes. STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE will automatically pro-rate your first month's rent.
Can I pay my bill online at any time?
Yes. We offer convenient online bill pay available 24-hours per day 7-days per week.
Do I need to have insurance when I rent a unit?
Yes. Our rental agreement requires all renters have some type of storage protection. STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE offers affordable storage protection that can be added to your monthly rent. Please see hour insurance page HERE for information about storage insurance.
Do I need to provide a lock when I rent a unit?
Our Kaysville location may require the use of a cylinder lock and will be marked with LD in the description. These rentals will require a one-time $15 lock deposit and the lock and key will be provided by STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE. All other locations the customer may provide their own lock. We recommend a disc lock for the greatest security.
What is the difference between Exterior/Outdoor Units and Interior Units
An exterior/outdoor unit is most often a drive-up storage unit located on the ground level of a facility that gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck. An indoor/interior storage unit is within a building that requires you to go inside to access your unit.
What day will my rent be due?
All of our rents are due on or before the 1st day of the month.
What is the difference between Gate Hours and Business Hours?
Business Hours are when our storage managers are available to assist you.
Gate Hours are when the facility is open to access your unit.

What does on-site manager mean?
An “on-site” manager is a STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE employee who lives in a residence at the location.
Do I need to commit to a long-term stay?
We require a minimum of one full month. Our units are on a month-to-month basis. Your rental with us can be as long or a short as you need it to be.h4>Do I need to commit to a long-term stay?
What is a storage unit with drive-up access?
A drive-up storage unit is an outside space located on the first floor of a facility that gives you the ability to load and unload your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.
Do you provide outdoor parking for RV, Boat, or Car storage?
We do not offer outdoor parking spaces for rent. Some of our locations do have a variety of unit sizes that you may store your RV, Boat, or Car in and keep them out of the weather. Please speak with one of our storage experts near you for more information.
What are the payment terms?
STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE wants to make your payment process as easy as possible. We offer the convenience of Recurring Billing, which will automatically charge your Mastercard®, Discover®, Visa®, American Express®, or online ACH (Bank Account) without additional fees.
Does STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE accept Credit Cards and Online Bill Pay?
We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard®, Discover®, Visa®, or American Express®. We offer the convenience of online bill pay 24/7.
Can I pay month-to-month?
Yes. Our rental agreements are month-to-month.
How many days notice do I need to give before I move-out?
We require an email notice be provided by the 15th day of the month you will be vacating your unit. We do not prorate the last month. Please see your rental agreement in your account online or contact your manager for more details.
Do you offer any promotions or discounts?
Yes. Many of our self-storage facilities offer specials and discounts throughout the year. You may visit our Promotions page HERE or contact the facility you’re interested in to ask about current specials and promotions.
