FAQ's

When you sign up for tenant protection coverage through STOCK N LOCK STORAGE, you’ll receive the coverage you need to protect items in storage from the unexpected without affecting any of your current insurance policies. 

Can I rent a unit at any time?
Yes. We offer convenient online rental available 24-hours per day 7-days per week.

Can I rent a unit any day of the month?
Yes. Rental months are the 1st day through the last day of the month. STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE will automatically pro-rate your first month's rent.

Do you offer month to month rentals?
Yes, our rentals renew on the 1st day of each month. If you rent a unit during the month, your rent will be prorated for the remainder of that month. Your rental will automatically renew on the 1st day of each month and your rent will also be due on the 1st.

Can I pay my bill online?
Yes. We offer convenient online bill pay available 24-hours per day 7-days per week. 

Do I need to have tenant protection coverage when I rent a unit?
Yes. Our rental agreement requires all renters have some type of storage protection. STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE offers affordable storage protection that can be added to your monthly rent. 

What is the difference between Exterior/Outdoor Units and Interior Units?
An exterior/outdoor unit is most often a drive-up storage unit located on the ground level of a facility that gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck. An indoor/interior storage unit is within a building that requires you to go inside to access your unit.
 
What day will my rent be due?
All of our rents are due on or before the 1st day of the month. 

What is the difference between Gate Hours and Business Hours?
Business Hours is when our storage managers are available to assist you. Gate Hours is when the facility is open to access your unit. Please see the individual locations for the Gate Hours and Business Hours.
 
What does on-site manager mean?
An “on-site” manager is a STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE employee who lives in a residence at the location.
 
Do I need to commit to a long-term stay?
We require a minimum of one full month. Our units are on a month-to-month basis unless there is a term length required for a promotion. Your rental with us can be as long or a short as you need it to be.

What is a storage unit with drive-up access?
A drive-up storage unit is an outside space located on the first floor of a facility that gives you the ability to load and unload your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.
 
Do you provide outdoor parking for RV, Boat, or Car storage?
Our Kuna, ID location offers outdoor parking. Some of our Utah locations do have a variety of unit sizes that you may store your RV, Boat, or Car in and keep them out of the weather. Please speak with one of our storage experts near you for more information. 

What are the payment options?
STOCK-N-LOCK STORAGE wants to make your payment process as easy as possible. We offer the convenience of Recurring Billing, which will automatically charge your Mastercard®, Discover®, Visa®, or American Express® without additional fees. 

Can I pay month-to-month?
Yes. Our rental agreements are month-to-month unless a move-in special requires a term length of stay.

How many days notice do I need to give before I move-out?
We require an email notice be provided by the 15th day of the month you will be vacating your unit. We do not prorate the last month. Please see your rental agreement in your account online or contact your manager for more details. 

Do you offer any promotions or discounts?
Yes. Many of our self-storage facilities offer specials and discounts throughout the year.
